OFF-DUTY OFFICER DETECTED DRINK DRIVING WHAT A GREAT EXAMPLE THIS OFFICER IS TO THE FORCE NOT

An off-duty officer has had his licence suspended after allegedly exceeding the prescribed concentration of alcohol while driving last night.

The senior constable from the southern region was tested at a booze bus site in Cranbourne North.

He recorded an alleged blood alcohol level of 0.119.

He was issued a penalty notice and the incident has been referred to the Professional Standards Command as a matter of course.
